Cocobay Cottages are situated on six manicured acres at the narrowest part of Green Turtle Cay, where 600 feet of land separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Sea of Abaco. Here you will find two beaches to choose from: the calm, protected waters of Cocobay, perfect for shelling, bonefishing or long walks, or the expansive ocean side beach with its inner reef less than one 70 yards offshore.
We have six air conditioned beach front cottages to choose from, Seashell, Conch Pearl and Conch Shell cottages have ocean views, while Pink offers views of both the ocean and the bay.
Each of our secluded cottages are tastefully decorated to fit the tropical atmosphere, and furnished with comfortable rattan furnishings throughout.
Our kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and all the utensils needed to prepare a gourmet meal.
The garden is dotted with tropical fruit trees, and fruits are available for the enjoyment of our guests in season.
We offer FREE wi-fi Internet connection, bring your smartphone or laptop and stay in touch. Complimentary use of our dock is also included during your stay for boats up to 30 feet.

Welcome to Ocean Daze…
The property comprises (on the 2nd floor); 2 Main Bedroom Suites; the Sunrise Suite has 1 King bed and ensuite bathroom and a delightful rain shower with ocean views. Beyond the rain shower is an outdoor shower overlooking the ocean. The Sunset Suite has 1 Queen bed & 1 Daybed (with trundle) that sleeps a total of 4 guests. The main house, 2nd floor sleeps 6 comfortably.
Pirates Den (350 sq. ft), located within main house on the first floor, directly beneath the Sunset Room, is the Pirates Den/Home Theatre/’man cave’. It is accessed via a separate entrance, and comprises a private area perfect for a break from the sun or for watching family movies on a 65″ screen with Bose CineMate GS Series II, sound system. The Pirate’s Den is also the perfect place for extended family or older children wanting their own space, as it’s self contained, yet a part of the main house and sleeps up to 4 guests. It comprises a cozy bedroom, with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and a separate living area, with a very comfy oversized L shaped sofa (which can sleep 2). This self contained hideout also has its own kitchenette complete with fridge/freezer, water cooler and every appliance necessary for sustenance!
Bonefish Cottage (additional charges will apply, please inquire), 550 sq. ft., will consist of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We have just started construction on Bonefish Cottage! Our newest addition, set for completion by April 2016. It is being built on pilings to provide magnificent panoramic views of Savannah Sound. This totally separate, secluded Cottage is in the front garden, on the west side of our property. It is close to our new 60′ dock on Savannah Sound. This cozy Cottage will accommodate up to 4 guests, in 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and a Great Room with a Bahama bed. It will also have a nice island style, fully equipped kitchen. Included in the rental of Bonefish Cottage, will be a Skiff, for endless fishing (Bone fish Flats galore!) or exploring fun on the protected lagoon, just steps away!

The Duck Inn overlooks picturesque Governor’s Harbour and Cupid’s Cay. Located in the heart of the township of Governor’s Harbour, grocery stores, shops and entertainment are with walking distance of the cottages.
The Duck Inn is part of the original settlement of Governor’s Harbour. Some of the buildings are almost 200 years old. Walls are built of solid limestone block carved from the hillside and cisturns. Roofs and interiors are prime heartwood timber hardened to steel-like strength over the ages. All cottages have been refurbished to pristine condition, decorated in tropical themes, furnished with authentic antiques and dressed in fresh flowers from the gardens.
Cottages
We have three luxury cottages nestled within orchid gardens and fruit trees. These rental cottages include two 1-bedroom cottages – “Cupid’s Cottage” and “HunnyPot”. And a 4-bedroom, 2-story house – “Flora’s”. All are beautifully maintained and include all the amenities needed to feel at home.
Each colonial cottage is beautifully decorated with polished wooden floors and antique furnishings. All three cottages have fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, verandas and living areas. Coffee makers, televisions and radios with CD players are included for your added convenience. All cottages are air-conditioned, have ceiling fans and maid service.
A stone barbeque grill and a large outdoor dining area with a tropical waterfall is available for guests’ use.
A fourth cottage at The Duck Inn is “Cornerwall” – John and Katy’s home. “Cornerwall” is a historic colonial Bahamian stone cottage with the verandah overlooking Governor’s Harbour bay. The recent photograph on the right was taken by a guest from inside the private garden of “Cupid’s Cottage”.

Our range of exotic tropical orchids, plants and flowers scent the air creating a magical atmosphere. Enjoy tropical fruits fresh from our trees in season.
Babysitting and private cook is available, a stone barbecue grill, outdoor dining area, bicycles, car rentals, boat rentals/charters, fishing, and kayaking are among the amenities available. Fishing guide and car rentals arrangements made upon request for your convenience.
Bonefishing
The Duck Inn is a bonefisher’s dream. Dozens of prime bonefish flats becon on the Atlantic and Caribbean side of the island. The Goveror’s Harbour flat is just a long cast away from the property. Check out our bonefishing page for all the details.
Villa Allamanda features modern, island style decor in a hilltop garden setting and is just a twelve to fifteen minute walk to beautiful twin coves beach; the property has breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, island coastline and the “Lucayan Sea”.

Villa Sylphide is a 1 Bedroom, 1-1/2 bath villa of approximately 850 square feet. It offers views to the ocean from both the bedroom and living room. It also features a full wrap around deck with infinite exposures depending on your lounging preferences. There is a full kitchen, and laundry with washer-dryer.
