Green Turtle Cay is a vacation paradise for sailors, divers and fishermen. The island is intimate in size at 3.5 miles in length and 1.5 miles wide and it is located just three miles off the east coast of Great Abaco. Green Turtle is the gem among this stretch of islands with an uneven coastline, deep bays, and pristine, white-sand beaches. It is closest in proximity to the southeast coast of Florida, located 170 miles due east of Palm Beach.
Coral gardens teem with colorful sea life, making for wonderful snorkeling and diving expeditions. Shelling on the powder-soft beaches and offshore sandbars is among the finest in The Bahamas. We’re famous for pink sand and turquoise water. When you’re not on the beach, we suggest that you mosey into town. Just five minutes from the hotel, Dunmore Town is Harbour Island’s epicenter. The Double Dragon Restaurant serves lunch hand dinner Monday through Saturday. Dinner only is served on Sunday. They have a take out menu as well as a dine in menu.
The Double Dragon Restaurant is located at the foot of the bridge leaving Paradise Island. It is an easy walk. Take your camera, at times there are good photo opportunities from the top of the bridge.
