The property comprises (on the 2nd floor); 2 Main Bedroom Suites; the Sunrise Suite has 1 King bed and ensuite bathroom and a delightful rain shower with ocean views. Beyond the rain shower is an outdoor shower overlooking the ocean. The Sunset Suite has 1 Queen bed & 1 Daybed (with trundle) that sleeps a total of 4 guests. The main house, 2nd floor sleeps 6 comfortably.
Pirates Den (350 sq. ft), located within main house on the first floor, directly beneath the Sunset Room, is the Pirates Den/Home Theatre/'man cave'. It is accessed via a separate entrance, and comprises a private area perfect for a break from the sun or for watching family movies on a 65" screen with Bose CineMate GS Series II, sound system. The Pirate's Den is also the perfect place for extended family or older children wanting their own space, as it's self contained, yet a part of the main house and sleeps up to 4 guests. It comprises a cozy bedroom, with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and a separate living area, with a very comfy oversized L shaped sofa (which can sleep 2). This self contained hideout also has its own kitchenette complete with fridge/freezer, water cooler and every appliance necessary for sustenance!
Bonefish Cottage (additional charges will apply, please inquire), 550 sq. ft., will consist of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We have just started construction on Bonefish Cottage! Our newest addition, set for completion by April 2016. It is being built on pilings to provide magnificent panoramic views of Savannah Sound. This totally separate, secluded Cottage is in the front garden, on the west side of our property. It is close to our new 60' dock on Savannah Sound. This cozy Cottage will accommodate up to 4 guests, in 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and a Great Room with a Bahama bed. It will also have a nice island style, fully equipped kitchen. Included in the rental of Bonefish Cottage, will be a Skiff, for endless fishing (Bone fish Flats galore!) or exploring fun on the protected lagoon, just steps away!

Name and meaning
Stella-di-Mare means “Star of the Sea”. The house received it’s name after a huge starfish was found on the pink sand beach, which is situated in front of the house.
The House
The house is built on one level, and is situated on a small promontory of land in the midst of a three acre sea-side property.
The situation of the house allows for beautiful views of the sea with white and pink sand beach that extends in all directions.
The house contains three spacious bedrooms - each with ensuite bathrooms, including baths with showers. The bedrooms are equipped with Serta king size beds. Each have cypress tray ceilings and are equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioners.
There are large double sliding glass doors opening to sea terraces in two bedrooms and opening to a garden terrace in the third bedroom.
The house comes well equipped with sheets, towels and all necessary linens. There is a great room with soaring cypress tray ceilings with ceiling fans and air conditioners. In this room there are large double sliding doors in the front and back allowing for great views and air circulation. These glass doors allow for views front and back of both tropical gardens and the sea as well as the sunrise and the sunset. There are over hanging terraces that allow for shade and shelter from the noon day sun. There is a separate wet bar for storing cool drinks and it contains its own refrigerator. There is also a separate airy room or den which offers a private space for writing or business and is equipped with internet. There is a separate outdoor living room with comfortable furniture under its own terrace. The house also has an outdoor studio which can be used as an artist's workplace.
There is a cool and well ventilated spacious kitchen with modern appliances.
The decor of the house is in soft tones of sand and white. With original works of art created by the owner-artists.
Maid service is included in your rent for 2 days each week. Extra maid service available at per diem.
The Garden
The house sits in a garden with many species of tropical plants. The back garden is dominated by a large orchid tree which attracts many species of hummingbirds. The garden is planned to attract as many species of birds as possible. The front terrace of the house contains a path that meanders to the beach through a lovely seaside palm garden. The path from the house ends at the seaside and the beach house which contains lounge chairs and sea kayaks.
The Beach
The beach, which runs in front of the house, is approximately three miles long and is formed in a crescent shape with a coral reef protecting the mouth of the curved beach. The water in the bay is crystal clear and because of the protective reef the waters are comfortably calm, which allows the bay to be perfect for all water sports. There is no undertow, so children can play safely in its waters. The calm waters in the bay are perfect for snorkelling, kayaking, fishing (excellent bone as well as other conventional) and swimming.
